The Ocean Guard Ballast Management System (BWMS) delivers outstanding performance in both fresh and seawater. The discharged ballast water is environmentally friendly and poses no harm to surrounding marine ecosystems. 

Energy Efficiency  

With low operating costs, Ocean Guard BWMS is designed for optimal energy efficiency, consuming only approximately 1.7kw to treat 1,000 m³ of ballast water. 

Explosion-Proof Design  

Certified as explosion -proof, Ocean Guard BWMS can be safely installed in pump rooms of oil tankers, liquid gas carriers and similar vessels requiring stringent safety measures. 

Advanced Single Treatment Process 

The system uses a single inflow treatment process, eliminating the need for discharge treatment, making it compatible with all vessel ballast water discharge systems. Developed by Headway Technology Co, Ltd, in collaboration with leading universities the system incorporates Advanced Electrocatalysis Oxidation Process (AEOP)to effectively eliminate microbes, bacteria, virus and dormant ovum. 

The AEOP process employs specialized semiconductor materials that generate hydroxyl radicals (*OH) from water molecules. These radicals exhibit exceptional oxidizing properties, instantly reacting with biological macromolecules, and organic pollutants, ensuring comprehensive sterilization.

  • Fast Reaction Time: Extremely short reaction and oxidation rates ensure rapid treatment. 
  • Eco -Friendly Byproducts:  

The process produces carbon dioxide (CO₂) water (H₂O) and trace amounts of inorganic salts, leaving no hazards residues.
